Obamacare Insurers taking losses

ObamaCare Causing Big Problems for Insurer Humana

Brace yourselves for yet another story of massive chaos created by ObamaCare.  This time, it's the insurer Humana that is in trouble:

Humana Inc. has added its name to the list of mega-medical insurers to report big problems under ObamaCare.

The Louisville, Ky.- based company does not expect to make enough money this year in premiums from individual plans to cover what it will pay out in claims, according to a regulatory filing made last week with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.

If this kind of problem sounds familiar, that's because it should:

Last year, UnitedHealth's CEO announced $425 million in losses and warned it may walk away from the health care exchanges altogether. UnitedHealth is the largest insurer in the country.

Many industry watchers warn the threat from the nation's largest insurer is just the beginning.

So far, ObamaCare has caused disruption in the health care coverage of millions of Americans when their plans were cancelled.  Now, it's beginning to look like more and more insurance companies will have a hard time staying afloat under the mandates of ObamaCare.  That means that millions more are going to be added to the rolls of those harmed by ObamaCare.

These insurance companies deserve these losses.  They bought all the lies it took to build Obamacare. They should sue the Democrats for malpractice. Any attempt to bail these idiots out should be stopped in its tracks.

The insurance industry is a single cell animal with no brain and 3 working parts. Government can screw up a one car parade.

Insurance was invented as a cash-flow strategy. If you had the cash to take a loss and replace the loss yourself, you didn’t need insurance. Healthcare insurance has become unsustainable because of outrageous hospital, drug and treatment bills. If treatment costs are no reduced, the entire scam will continue to implode.
