US Population History 11-7-24

In 1600, European Countries did not allow citizens to own land. Most countries were Monarchies and the Royals owned all the land. The citizens were Serfs  who worked the land. These Serfs came from generations of farmers with centuries of experience. When the Colonies were established in America, these European Farmers signed up to colonize their American Colonies. The US Population grew from 350 in 1610 to 250,000 in 1700 and to 1.170,760 by 1750. The British Colonial Citizen were allowed to own property and they prospered from one generation to the next. They were literate and all families owned a Bible. They were motivated because they got to benefit from their labor. British Colonial Law allowed citizens to buy land, own Land Titles and pass their farms on to their children. They had achieved the generational wealth they wee denied in Europe. The Colonial Citizens served in their Colonial Legislatures and fought along side of British Armies to win the French Indian War in 1765. This gave them new Territories to settle West of their Colonies.

From 1765 to 1775, the Continental Congress attempted to reason with the British Parliament to allow them to weigh in on the Taxes Parliament imposed, but the Parliament would not recognize their standing. The Brits became brutal to force the Colonists to accept the Taxes.  The Revolutionary War began in 1775 and the Colonies won the War in 1883. This was a grave mistake that resulted in Britian losing the Colonies. They would repeat this mistake over the next 100 years and lose their other Colonies.

The increases in the Colonial population to over 1 million in 1750 should have warned the British that were in danger of losing the Colonies.

The US Population had doubled since 1950. Our lack of Manufacturing Jobs and Inflation by excessive Federal Spending has resulted in an “Affordability Crisis” in 2024. The US National Debt is approaching $36 trillion. Interest on the Debt is approaching $1 trillion per year. Federal Spending is approaching $7 trillion per year and Federal Revenue remains at $4 trillion per year. Increasing US Oil and Natural Gas Production to reduce living costs is our best hope.
