Permission to TRUMP

Dear Friend,
On the eve of Republican primary election, I am getting lots of calls asking one question: If I’m a Conservative - how can I vote for Trump?

The truth of the matter is this: Trump is the best chance we have to reclaim the White House and “Make America Great Again.”

I could bore you with political reasons … Trump is conservative on the issues that matter most to the future of the Republican Party and America: immigration and trade.  Trump has pledged his support of the current Republican platform to both Phyllis Schlafly and myself.  Trump is growing the party not shrinking it.

But, if you’re looking for an argument that gives you “Permission to TRUMP”, I think it was said best by an old high school pal of mine (who is NOT a politician) in a text exchange a few weeks ago:

Me: You like Trump?

Pal: Loved him from first his announcement. The most brutally honest speech I've heard in a long time. He's the only guy who had the guts to take on the media and hold his ground. They don't know what to do with him. It's tough to fight the truth. Trump is far from perfect but he has the guts to take on the machine and can't be bought. Very unique. I get that he can be offensive and egotistical but I'm willing to accept that in return for downsizing government, leadership, cutting costs, and straight talk. Tough to fight straight talk.

Me: Do you think our buddies will like him?

Pal: I definitely do. The problem is the media makes you feel like you're an idiot or not a savvy person if you like Trump. People read the papers/watch TV and are hesitant to really voice their opinions. I think guys like us like to see the truth and punches thrown at the establishment. It is so rare these days. And the punches Trumps throws are well deserved.

Democrats & Republicans are playing the same game (more taxes, bigger gov.). It's so nice to see someone who is acting out of the party setup a la Ross Perot. After Ross Perot, the Dems and Republicans made it impossible or very, very hard for an independent to win. So Trump has to get the Republican nomination to win. Then, he will roast Hillary/ Bill in a debate. The guy's a ridiculous success. His family and kids are also so impressive. We need a smart leader who will be feared and respected and most importantly will be a Commander in Chief with a successful, real world background.

There you have it.  It's time for Donald Trump. All the best.
