Healthcare is the current hoax being
perpetrated on US voters and again, everybody is silent. There are a few Republicans in Congress who
are proposing the full Repeal of Obamacare, but most in Congress are wringing
their hands.
Healthcare costs are high, because the
federal government has made excessive subsidies to healthcare for decades.
Providers have no incentive to lower costs in this bloated system, because
politicians are maintaining their silence.
Healthcare costs won’t go down until
providers know that government subsidies are going to be reduced.
Our current healthcare system is built on a
sand foundation that ignores the laws of economics, particularly the law of
supply and demand and the establishment of the price in a free market
economy. Consumers need to be able to
refuse to buy because the price is too high.
Government needs to announce the plan to
reduce healthcare subsidies by 5% a year over the next 20 years. Then Providers will begin to lower costs.
