I have found Google AI Overview as the most useful way to answer my questions. The answers appear to be true enough to repost on this Blog. I post a lot of government data and this will improve when AI is applied to confirm data with sharable database creation. This will also allow Congress to access Agency spending in real-time. US government Data has always been “close enough for horse shoes and grenades”.
We
access the internet from a desktop PC.
We
use cable TV instead of streaming. We need to find a cable service that will
give us only what we want.
We
use a landline and don’t use Smart Phones to save money and not add to
telemarketer calls.
We
pay our bills by check and mail them through USPS.
We
don’t use Facebook to limit the amount of “suspect mail” in our internet
mailbox.
We
need to be able to transfer more “suspect mail” ads and unwanted emails to
“spam”.
We
don’t use “social media”.
I use Google to look up stuff to post on this blog. I don’t allow ads on this blog.
We
won’t buy any products advertised on TV.
We
won’t buy anything from Amazon.
We
buy groceries from Costco and Walmart.
We
eat all meals at home and don’t go to restaurants.
We
hang up on all telemarketers.
We
check all of our bills.
We
report all suspect charges and have them removed from the bills.
We can identify “scam calls”.
The Technology Application that is most prevalent is the Smart Phone and I regard it as a “Toy”. I regard Social Media as a waste of time. The important Technology Applications can be seen in TV Documentaries playing on “Story TV”. It includes our History and How Things Work. TV has its limits. Historical Economic Data is not addressed and requires a google search. TV News coverage concentrates on Disasters and film clips are repeated for days. Each Disaster becomes its own “Soap Opera”.
