Athens, GA – The Broun for Senate campaign today released
the names of the following Georgia Tea Party groups and individuals that have shown
their support or endorsed Paul Broun in the Georgia U.S. Senate race.
These groups range from the North Georgia Mountains to metro Atlanta to West Georgia all the way to the coast.
The Carroll County Georgia Tea Party
"The Carroll County Georgia Tea Party Association
endorses Dr. Paul Broun for the United States Senate. Dr. Broun has served his
fellow man as a physician and his country as a Marine, navy medical officer,
and member of Congress. His voting record in the House of Representatives
attests to his commitment to our nation's founding principles and to his oath
to 'support and defend the Constitution of the United States of America.'"
Walton County Tea Party Patriots
"The Walton County Tea Party Patriots has endorsed Dr.
Paul Broun for U.S. Senate because he has one of the most conservative records
in Congress with tenure of over 4 years. Dr. Broun believes in the original intent
of the Declaration of Independence, the Constitution, and the Framers commitments when they pledged their lives,
fortunes, and sacred honor."
Hart County Tea Party
"We are endorsing Dr. Broun because he is a
constitutional conservative that will fight for the people of Georgia. He
stands for our meaning of liberty and smaller government, and he will continue
to stand up for the people of Georgia as he has done in the House."
The Tea Party of Northeast Georgia's Chairman Elizabeth
