Trump Wins Second Debate Poll

SHOCK POLL: Here’s Who Won the Second GOP Debate, by Terresa Monroe-Hamilton, 9/17/15

It was the best of times and the worst of times last night at the GOP second presidential debate. The ‘B’ team debate was over before it began. It was very much a meh moment, although Bobby Jindal was good in his own right. Just not aggressive or charismatic enough to jump to the first tier. And I didn’t care for his stance on deportations. I still love the guy though and consider him a principled conservative. The ‘A’ team was a different story. Kasich showed himself to be the Progressive he is. No surprises there. The Joyful Tortoise, Jeb Bush, was not only Progressive, he was boring. Walker came off lame trying to attack Trump and failing at it horribly. Christie was mildly entertaining, but since I know what a Progressive he is, no dice. Plus, I can’t get that pic of him holding Obama’s hand out of my mind. The others were more interesting, but in the end Trump slayed them once again.

I kept seeing from conservatives last night how bad Trump was doing, but evidently America did not see it that way. Cruz didn’t get fair time last night and I thought he won the debate for passion, substance and facts. Paul just ticks me off, especially with his talk of working with radical Islamists, communists and tyrants. Another fail. Rubio is sleek, but just doesn’t have the passion of the others. I thought Huckabee was very good and I am surprised he didn’t poll better. Carson, ever the gentleman, was stately and steady. I thought he did well. Many thought Fiorina won. She did very well and was not the pit bull I thought she would be. Points for Carly. Trump was Trump and America loved him once again. I think part of his appeal is he doesn’t have all the answers… he just intends to get it done and make America great again. In the end, the debates won’t decide this. Americans will and right now, they overwhelmingly want The Donald. They are just that ticked off over illegal immigration and can you blame them?
