Socialism is spreading like a disease

An Urgent Message from author, producer, former investigative journalist, and GOP Trust Executive Director Scott Wheeler

The possible destruction of the Republic is in sight. But there is good news. The closer our nation gets to its breaking point, the more potential there is that more of our countrymen will understand the looming disaster. But still, many think that a socialist revolution just can't happen here. Unfortunately, it not only can happen here, we are right in the middle of what Obama called the fundamental "transformation of America".

And believe it or not, if it were not for you, we may already have crossed the point at which there is no return. Together we have held the line, by fighting battles that matter, and winning just enough to keep us in the fight. On a shoestring budget, we been able to change the narrative on many issues. In fact, when you listen to the leading Republican candidates for president, you hear the words we have been saying for years. For those of you who read our books and our reports, it will seem as if we are writing the words for them. That is because the movement we began over seven years ago brought new life to the faltering conservative movement--and it would not have been possible without your support!

NOW WE NEED A RALLY! We have been warning that socialism is coming back in a big way--right here on our home soil. That is why we created our Socialism Exposed campaign.(http://goptrust.us8.list-manage1.com/track/click?u=0d09 bbb49d180af73 2e9e04e5&id=3aa3c0ea69&e=5933e739e2)

The idea is to bring people who have actually lived under socialism and escaped it to tell the stories from the insider perspective. These narratives are powerful, and if we can get them wide circulation, it will have a powerful impact. We have previously reported to you that nearly half of the Democrat Party self-identifies as "socialist"--that is double what it was just a few years ago.

THIS SHOULD SCARE YOU--despite the growing socialist movement in our country, WE ARE THE ONLY GROUP ATTEMPTING TO EXPOSE THE DANGERS by reaching those who do not understand it! There are a lot of groups in Washington that write fancy papers about the importance of liberty--they mostly talk to one another.

We are the only group targeting the socialists, and those who might become socialist, with messages warning them about the dangers of it. And this is a critical time for this program--the closer we get to the election, the more difficult it becomes to change voters' minds. In other words, we must reach as many as we can before their beliefs are codified in their minds. Will you help us reach them? (http://goptrust.us8.list-manage.com/track/click?u=0d09 bbb49d180af732e9e04e5&id=06391793b7&e=5933e739e2)

It does not matter which Democrat wins the nomination, the general election will be about whether we stop the socialist transformation of the nation or not. And right now is our chance to have maximum impact (http://goptrust.us8.list-manage.com/track/click?u=0d09bbb49d180af732e9e04e5&id=bd61618feb&e=5933e739e2) . We know how to do this--and we know we have a convincing message--every single idea of the Democrats gives them more power and makes us less free!

In addition to exposing socialism, we must also strengthen the Republicans' hand with regard to stopping Obama from appointing another radical Supreme Court Justice.  We are providing the best argument for the reasons not to allow him another appointment--that the election in 2012 is under a cloud of suspicion because he used the government to prevent criticism of him-- banana republic style.

We need to turn Obama's corruption into the scandal that it really is. Democrats invent scandals to deny Republicans authority--we need to use the overwhelming evidence of Obama's abuse of power to stop him from going any further.

Yours in Liberty, Scott Wheeler, Executive Director
