Palestinians on Welfare

The population of Palestine is approaching 5 million. 1 million plus Arabs living in “Palestine” are on welfare that is provided by Western government contributions made to the UN for redistribution to this group.  The US is the biggest contributor having given $5 billion so far.

If we quit the UN, this welfare scheme would begin to collapse and these folks would either have to support themselves or move to find jobs.  Israel was recreated as a country after World War II.  Arabs immediately attacked the Jews and the Jews won this war.  It created Arab refugees who were moved to refugee camps in the Palestine Territory.  These refugee camps have since turned into cities, but this refugee relief continues.  This UN welfare plan, UNRWA, was set up in 1948, when Arabs were moved out of the new state of Israel. 

UNRWA is the Palestinian Welfare scheme. 1.2 billion from governments and $145 million from Arab organizations
