Alternative Energy

Subsidies for wind and solar should be eliminated.  Utilities should cease expanding wind and solar because they cost 14 cents per kwh to produce, compared to 2 cents per kwh for coal and nuclear to produce. Hydro-electric plants should be used.  Natural gas is 3 cents per kwh and can also be used for vehicles.

Ethanol should not be required in gasoline.

Energy companies should continue their research on alternate energy to get the price down. They alone have the economic incentive to do this research.
