Russian Ruse Update

Democrats still insist that Russian interference in the 2016 elect is a “very important” issue.  It looks like this “snipe hunt” will find that the Russians don’t do any more in trying to influence other countries elections than we do.

Evidence of hacking attempts of campaign computers has been leaked and associated with a Russian group. There is apparently evidence that these hackers attempted to plant cookies in US election system computers.  Putin says that the Russian government did not attempt hacking, but he knew there were groups in Russia that do attempt to hack computers.

The Wikileaks disclosure of the Podesta emails did not help the Clinton campaign, but their CEO Julian Assange, said they got the Podesta emails from a disgruntled Hillary campaign staffer, not the Russians.

The Session inquisition televised 6/13/17 yielded no evidence that the Russian government colluded with the Trump campaign. See my “Life in the Swamp” post that covers the Session session..
