We have new rules of
the road between countries. For one country to invade another is no longer
acceptable. We have warned the Russians not to invade Ukraine and they haven’t.
Russia did annex Crimea, but they did it with an election and won 80% of the
vote and we haven’t demanded they give Crimea back to Ukraine.
World War I taught us
to resist declaring war. Now if somebody assassinates a crowned prince, we
execute them rather than starting a World War. World War II taught us that not
everybody was on board to prevent war. That included Hitler and the banks he
borrowed the money from. Now we have the
ability to track money and cut off funding and trade to punish offending
countries, but this is not 100% guaranteed. If the offending force is a
terrorist group and is funded by organized crime, they can still cause wars,
because their funding is off the grid.
Today most wars are
caused by factions waging civil wars and terrorists and criminals. Wars can be caused by famine and we are
experimenting with aid to affected areas of the world, but so far it’s an
expensive failure. Criminals and terror groups steal the food we send.
Centuries of invasion
and conquest defined the world history for millennia. This occurred in Europe
and Asia and everywhere. We still have the God-given right to defend ourselves,
so we need to figure out how to contain violence more effectively in ways that
recognize our free will.
We believe that
citizens can change their government. Many countries have elections, but these
appear to be rigged. This rigging occurs by limiting candidates, thuggery,
dumbing down voters and serial rioting.
In 1992, Yugoslavia broke up into Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia and
Herzegovina, Serbia and Macedonia. The breakup was driven by cultural and
religious differences in ethnic groups.
They rejected multiculturalism when given the opportunity. Yugoslavia
bordered Austria and Hungary and had been part of the Austro-Hungarian Empire.
Countries have
experienced a massive attempt by governments to implement a “new world order”,
but citizens are rejecting their loss of sovereignty and the policies that come
from the UN, the EU and other consolidating actors.
This movement toward
World Communism has attracted Muslim extremists to enter the fray to promote a
return the Islamic caliphate they had with the Ottoman Empire.
Governments have
cozied up to Big Money and ignore their own voters to their peril. Funding has
been concentrated on population centers and rural areas are left on their
own.
