There are different
reasons people want to work in government, but we need to cut their numbers in
half.
The motivation we hear
from politicians is that they believe government can accomplish great things.
They are “statists”, who wouldn’t mind if government ran everything. They do
not consider the difference in cost between the public and private sectors.
There is also a group
who find power to be an aphrodisiac. They derive their identity from their
proximity to people in power. They are “name droppers”.
There has always been
a group who value “security” above everything else. They work for government to avoid being laid
off. For this group, inefficiency is a blessing, because it ensures “job
security”.
The group we are
looking at now are Democrat Liberal Activists who work in government because
they can spend time working on Democrat political goals and campaigns. They are
Socialists, who want to overthrow the US government. These operatives need to
be removed from the federal payroll.
The first step in
culling down the cost of the federal government is to remove the
unconstitutional departments, agencies and programs and then have people who
know what they’re doing to automate all processes for efficiency. Laws that
unleash the chaos should not be effective until effective processes are created
and tested. Newt Gingrich once said he wanted to install “Lean Management” into
the federal government and he is correct.
Government has the worse disjointed and dysfunctional processes
imaginable.
Voters need to elect
candidates who are aware of these problems and who know how to reorganize for
efficiency and quality and are less enamored with government.
Government employees
need to implement more effective processes and these are the only employees we
will need. Removing political activists from management roles and replacing
them with professionals is in order. Those who want to engage in political
activity can do so on their own time.
