Our Wars

I consider “Our Wars” to just include those that were fought on U.S. soil since the 1600s.
The first of our wars were for territory and involved moving Native Americans from their hunting-grounds to make room for more European immigrants to set up peaceful farming villages.  These were wars authorized by the British Empire.
Our second war was the Revolutionary war for independence from the British Empire that had its roots in the 1700s, was declared in 1775, was culminated in 1783, George Washington became President in 1789 and actually ended in 1814 with the War of 1812.
Our third war was the Mexican war of 1838.  It involved Texas’ war for independence and the Mexican invasion and resulted in Mexico’s surrender in 1847 and the U.S. land occupation and purchase of the Southwestern territories.
Our fourth war was the Civil War between industrial Northern and agricultural Southern states that started with a majority Northern Congress passing a tariff on British goods that jeopardized Southern cotton exports to Britain.  It began in 1861 and ended in 1865.
All other wars were foreign wars, fought on foreign soil.  These include wars the U.S. was drawn in to like World War I and World War II and those that involved U.S. intervention siding with one government or another.  Most were interventions where the U.S. and its allies joined in the battles.  Some were covert operations to destabilize poor, weak countries to benefit large corporations or install a more U.S. friendly tyrant.  None of these worked out well.
U.S. citizens were opposed to the U.S. becoming entangled in any European wars, but after the end of World War II, opposition softened enough to allow the “cold war” with Communist Russia to last from 1945 to 1989.
World War I was mostly about a paranoid Germany wanting to take over Russia in 1914.  Treaties drew Britain into this war, but with hindsight, a German victory over Russia could have prevented the Communist Revolution of 1917 and World War II in 1939.
World War II was mostly about Germany being angry about the economic decimation that came with the Treaty of Versailles in 1917.  A similar opportunity was missed when it looked like Russia and Germany could annihilate each other. Had we not entered this war, I believe the Chinese would have eventually been forced to defeat the Japanese.
Our current wars in Afghanistan and Iraq and the rest of the Middle East I would charge to “Military Foreign Aid” that only Israel deserves. I would end all government to government foreign aid completely.  These bribes to behave only get us in trouble as they fire the weapons we gave them back at us.
Our New Political War 2008 to Present
Our fifth war is a political war between Grassroots Americans and Global Communist Democrats and RINOs. It began in the 1992 with the Presidential race between George HW Bush, Bill Clinton and Ross Perot. It was a war for the soul of the Republican Party and our economy and it failed.  The Republican Party was split between “grassroots” and “internationalists”. Our global corporations took the side of the internationalists and guaranteed our decline.
The Tea Party gave voice to the Grassroots and delivered its first blow in 2010.  Since then, the Tea Party has been battling against U.N. Agenda 21 implementation by our states, cities and counties.  Our enemies have had the time and resources since 1992 to develop a multiple mousetrap of systems designed to ignore the Constitution, crash our economy and muzzle individual rights and freedom. It involves offshoring our jobs coupled with excessive immigration and money printing and over-the-top regulations and laws designed to crash our economy.  The goal of our enemy is to have us morph into a one-world, tyrannical communist government under the U.N. and controlled by criminal Marxist financial maggots. We would be poor and we would be slaves and there would only be 500 million of us left on the planet. That would require the extermination of over 7 billion people.
Tea Parties are battling to close the Mexican border, stop all illegal immigration and almost all legal immigration to give Americans jobs.  We oppose Obamacare and Common Core. We want to quit the U.N. and put a lid on the Federal Reserve.  We are Constitutional Conservatives who would close most federal departments and agencies and give these functions to the States or the People.  Our goal is the make the federal government comply with the Constitution and 10th Amendment (as written).  We would make the federal government get out of foreign aid, corporate welfare, banking, lending, education, energy, labor, housing, health care, federal lands and grants,  We would make written law primary and not allow judges to turn their opinions into law.  We would put the federal government on a diet, limit federal revenue to $2 trillion, pay off the national debt and rebuild our economy so that every American could be self-supporting.
We want to do this in a certain order. We need to reduce federal spending by $1 trillion a year as quickly as possible. We would keep “safety net” benefits intact and take actions to create jobs.
We would declare carbon capture unnecessary, quit the U.N. unleash U.S. productivity, drill everywhere, repeal job killing EPA regulations, repeal Obamacare and Common Core, lower corporate taxes, get manufacturing to return to the U.S. and end most immigration until the majority of our 92 million unemployed Americans are working in American jobs. We would restore the agricultural guest worker program and allow unlimited H1b visas for engineering graduates from U.S. Universities.
As these reforms take hold we would close federal departments that are the most destructive like EPA, HUD, Transportation, Labor, Education, Energy and  Interior and send these functions to the States.
We would sell off Fannie Mae, Freddie Mack and Sallie Mae to private, American lending companies.  We would give back all federal lands to the States to sell to Americans over time to restore tree harvesting and mining.
We would demand that campaign contribution be restricted to registered voters who would be the only one who could make campaign contributions and only for those who would appear on their ballots.  Let special interests make their case on their own websites.
Almost all of the American Communist Party goals written in 1920 and restated in 1963 have been accomplished by Democrats bringing Bills and Republican RINOs enabling their passage. We have entered the “Winter at Valley Forge” chapter of this war and the outcome cannot be predicted. It will require “Providence” to help us win this war.
Norb Leahy, Dunwoody GA Tea Party Leader
