Gun saved a Life

Man Uses Concealed Weapon to Save Stabbing Victim – What Happens Next Is Crazy

By keeping a calm outlook and a level head when he witnessed a fellow employee being stabbed, 32-year-old Didarul Sarder saved the life of a woman under attack by another employee.

Mr. Sarder drew his concealed gun, and was able to hold the attacker until police arrived on-scene to control the situation and arrest the attacker.

Unfortunately, thanks to a no-gun policy, Mr. Sarder was escorted from the property and subsequently fired for violating the company policy.

“I would do it all over again,” he told Fox affiliate WJBK. “If I could save this woman’s life over a job. I can get another job.”

Fortunately for Sarder, that won’t be necessary. The 32-year-old has been offered his job back after his bosses at a General Motors Technical Center in Warren, Mich., reversed their unpopular decision, allowing the valet service supervisor to return to work.

The decision was praised by Warren Mayor Jim Fouts, who called Sarder a “hero” in a lengthy Facebook post commending his actions. He noted that Sarder had a valid concealed pistol license and “probably saved” a “woman from being murdered.”

Hat tip to Mayor Fouts, for being a staunch supporter of Mr. Sarder’s and assisting in the reversal of the termination decision. May more companies and politicians follow this example!
