What are these other GOP Primary HD 80 candidates hiding
from taxpayers?
As candidates for your State House district, Alan Cole and
Meagan Hanson each refused to answer their Georgia Taxpayers United candidate
survey.
Don’t you think that candidates for office should give
voters like you straight answers on important issues like Obamacare, the income
tax, property taxes, the gas tax hike, and the largest tax hike in Georgia
history, T-SPLOST?
One candidate, Catherine Bernard, completed her survey 100%
correctly and returned it before the deadline.
Why didn’t these other candidates do the same?
Maybe Alan Cole and Meagan Hanson are embarrassed by
their positions and don't want to put them in writing!
You see, Georgia Taxpayers United sent all candidates for
State House the candidate survey back in April. The survey was due on May 2nd.
We asked candidates to give us straight “yes” or “no”
answers on issues that are important to supporters like you such as:
*** Stopping (nullifying) Obamacare in Georgia,
*** Repealing the hospital bed tax,
*** Repealing the state income tax,
*** Repealing property taxes,
*** Repealing taxes on cars and the recent gas tax hike,
*** Repealing the largest tax-hike in Georgia history
(T-SPLOST), and
*** Repealing Georgia’s Internet tax scheme.
By getting candidates for office to put their positions in
writing, we can better hold them accountable should they win elective office.
But Alan Cole and Meagan Hanson apparently don’t want his
their intentions revealed in writing.
Please contact Alan Cole and Meagan Hanson and let them know
how you feel about their refusal to complete their surveys.
And contact Catherine Bernard and thank her for taking a
stand on these important issues.

Georgia Taxpayers United does not endorse or oppose
candidates for public office, and this email should not be misconstrued as
such. We encourage voters to thoroughly research all of the candidates and make
an informed decision.

Catherine
Bernard saved Brookhaven from endless abuse by defeating the ballot initiative
that would have set up Redevelopment powers to give tax dollars away to
developers and private companies without voter approval.
Catherine
made the case to end “no knock warrants” to prevent further voter abuse. Catherine is an Attorney with her own
practice and is not “owned” by special interests.
