Trump Just Made A HUGE Push
for A Muslim Ban, Liberals Are Outraged, by Crispin White,
Even before President-elect Donald
Trump has been sworn in and taken the oath of office, he has already started
making some major moves. Trump recently made an announcement, where he said
that he supports a "Muslim ban." It's not quite what people were
expecting, either. WND reports that Trump plans to "jump-start"
legislation to label the Muslim Brotherhood as a terrorist organization.
The legislation, which was
originally started by Texas Sen. Ted Cruz in 2015 has met its fair share of
road blocks due to the Obama administration refusing to acknowledge the
Egyptian organization and it's related American offshoot, the Council on
American-Islamic Relations, as a terrorist group.
Trump has said that he is interested
in signing the legislation that would classify the CAIR, the Muslim
Brotherhood, and the Islamic Society of North America as terroristic
organizations. One of Trump's advisors told Egyptian television that Trump
plans on making this a priority.
The Muslim Brotherhood was
originally founded in 1928 as a nationalist group, but was later re-purposed to
spread Islamic ideals and values across the globe in 1970. Their main motto is "Allah is
our objective. The Prophet is our leader. The Quran is our law. Jihad is our
way. Dying in the way of Allah is our highest hope. (Allah is greater!)"
The group claims to not be a
terrorist organization, however the FBI found a document during a raid of
Brotherhood safe house in 2004, that reads that the Brotherhood believes
"work in America is a kind of grand jihad in eliminating and destroying
the Western civilization from within and ‘sabotaging’ its miserable house by
their hands and the hands of the believers so that it is eliminated and God’s
religion is made victorious over all other religions.
Without this level of understanding,
we are not up to this challenge and have not prepared ourselves for jihad yet.
It is a Muslim’s destiny to perform jihad and work wherever he is and wherever
he lands until the final hour comes, and there is no escape from that destiny
except for those who chose to slack."
It gets worse from here. Both the
Muslim Brotherhood and American offshoot CAIR were also involved in one of the
largest terrorism funding case ever prosecuted in the United States.
We know that the left is going to
fight back hard against this legislation. We will see if Trump can actually get
this through now that Obama will be gone.
