I agree
for different reasons. Romney showed bad judgement in the 2012 Presidential
campaign by not coming clean with the truth the way Trump did in 2015. He tried to win the Presidency the easy way,
by saying nothing. He thought voters would surely fire Obama in 2012, but they didn’t.
Romney might be ok in another role, but maybe not. I lump Romney in with McCain
and the other RINOs and want to make sure they know how badly they screwed up.
I would banish the lot to a life in the private sector.
The old
guard is practiced in the old methods that got us into this trouble. They
wanted to be “collegial and do bi-partisan things” They encouraged “pay to play
bill passing”. They bragged about being the world’s best deliberative body, but
they missed figuring out the will of the voters. They kept the really stupid
things they did a secret. They are neither smart nor honest. They all need to
retire before we retire them in 2018. That goes for all of the leaders in
Europe as well; they need to be replaced, all of them.
