Believable Performance

Delivering a believable performance happens in movies that are pure fiction and in political campaigns. Credible used to mean believable and now it just describes a theatrical performance.

A more precise assessment of the performances given by Ford and Kavanaugh is that they handled their roles well in a “he said, she said” debate over completely unprovable accusations.

Ford lost this debate due to lack of evidence and lack of corroboration.  Kavanaugh won the debate by producing more evidence like his Diary and witness corroboration. Based on the facts, Kavanaugh wins decisively. There was absolutely no proof that the allegations against Kavanaugh.

Democrats are insisting that all unproven accusations are true and we should always side with the victim, even if their claims are not true.  This happens with migrants who tell obvious lies to claim asylum and criminals who lie to avoid incarceration.  For Democrats, these migrants and criminals are victims and should get a pass.

Given the evidence, Ford is likely suffering from post-hypnotic suggestion or is prone to having delusions or both. Her testimony suggests that she is emotionally unstable. False Identity is another common error in witness testimony.

Determining the TRUTH is based on the evidence and Ford has no evidence. Ford failed to prove that Kavanaugh was the perpetrator of her presumed attack “beyond a reasonable doubt”.

The Senate is guilty of letting life imitate art. Setting up a witness testimony session when there was no evidence simply played into Democrats’ hands to obstruct, delay and slander. Democrats had another venue to promote its “victim” supremacy narrative.

The Senate is crazy to give credibility to theatrics. It is symptomatic of their failure to recognize their limits. Their tendency to usurp authority over the past 100 years has allowed them to hoist themselves on their own petard.

We are running a country here and the stakes are high. This is not a reality TV show. Truth depends on facts and not the acting abilities of accusers or those they are accusing.
