ARC - Atlanta's Dirty Little Secret

The Atlanta Regional Commission (ARC) bills itself as 'the regional planning and intergovernmental coordination agency for the 10-county area'. Its stated mission is to 'unify the region's collective resources to prepare the metropolitan area for a prosperous future'.

The State legislature, having legalized the usurpation of authority from Georgia citizens to derive such outcomes for themselves in a free market, established this centralized team of politicians, appointees and bureaucrats to collect and administer hundreds of millions of dollars from federal, state and local taxes to further their respective program and favored interests.

The ARC has become, in effect, a fourth - though unelected and therefore nearly invisible, unaccountable - layer of

government designed to influence and, where possible control, all land use, water rights, transportation, and infrastructure for the 5 million residents within its 10 county jurisdiction. Ironically,

ARC by-laws strictly limit input from the public to 10 minutes per monthly meeting, subject to board approval, on a case basis. In its September 24th meeting, the 2014 Bilderberger Kassim Reid, Mayor of Atlanta, led 18 fellow board members in voting to continue such draconian restrictions on the public they purportedly serve. As a result, only preselected viewpoints affecting such decisions will be aired and ARC board decisions will continue to go largely unchallenged.

This is the seed of soviet-style shadow government that time and again has resulted in corruption, systematic elimination of citizen liberty and eventual totalitarianism. Freedom's price is an informed and engaged citizenry who demand representation for taxation.
