These 2014 Scores from Conservative Review show that 27 Senators got a grade of D or better and all of them are Republicans. 72 Senators got a grade of F and 27 of these Senators are Republicans.  This should be enough to explain why Mitch McConnell keeps getting reelected as the Republican Majority Leader.  Despite a Republican majority, far too many of these Republican Senators vote too often against the US Constitution (as written). They need to be pressured by voters to improve their scores or face replacement.
If we voters would keep track of these scores and vote for those who get an A or B, we wouldn’t be in this mess.

Besides Conservative Review, the Club for Growth, Heritage Action, Numbers USA and the New American Freedom Index post similar scores.
