The Promised Land

Moses told the Jews: ‘pick up your shovels and mount your asses and follow me to the Promised Land.’  40 years later they arrived.  FDR told the Americans: ‘lay down your shovels and sit on your asses; this is the Promised Land’.

Socialism had arrived with the creation of a government controlled retirement plan, a Ponzi scheme designed to increase government revenue and provide retirement income….for a while. Retirement was a short-lived creature of ‘central planning’ and socialist thinking and is being largely ignored by most “retirees” these days.

This Socialist plan to become a big government nation was initiated with the creation of the Federal Reserve and Income Tax in 1913.  The money printing created a stock market bubble like we have today and the Inheritance Tax decimated the family farm. When the stock market crashed in 1929, all the jobs disappeared, just like they did in 1993 after NAFTA.  The “dust bowl” draught in the 1930s finished off the family farms, like Hillary’s election would finish off the US economy.

In 1924 Congress passed the Bonus Act that promised to pay a bonus to World War I veterans, but it was passed to be paid in 1945.  In 1932, 40,000 unemployed veterans camped outside the Whitehouse to demand their bonuses.  Congress refused to meet their demand that the bonus be paid in 1932.  Nobody was reelected in 1933. The US Constitution had prohibited the government from giving tax money away as “welfare”, but the Congress should have paid the “bonus” as deferred “wages” when they needed it.

The Promised Land did occur after 1945, was led by the private economy and lasted until 1989 when immigration doubled.  It was further eroded in 1993 with NAFTA and UN Agenda 21 implementation. Now, in 2016, the US has become a shadow of its former self. So, what have you got to lose?

Our US Constitution and Bill of Rights (as written) gives us the proven formula for freedom and prosperity, if we can just get the government to stop ignoring it and return to compliance with it.  If we do that, we can return to the “Promised Land”.
