Trump Campaign Update

Lewandowski Reveals the REAL Reason Trump Just “Shook Up” His Campaign

Republicans were surprised but pleased on Wednesday when Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump announced that conservative media executive Stephen Bannon would be taking over as CEO of his campaign. Trump’s former campaign manager, Corey Lewandowski, offered high praise for the hiring decision, calling the Breitbart chairman a “win at all costs” strategist.

In an interview with CNN’s “New Day,” Lewandowski argued that this “shake up” within the Trump camp was a “clear indication” that Trump wants a victory in November — and would do whatever it takes to get there.

At Breitbart, Bannon created a reputation for himself and his news organization for reliable conservative reporting and giving a proverbial middle finger to the politically correct mainstream media.

The hiring of this outspoken, unapologetic, anti-establishment conservative has been concerning for those on the left who thought a victory in November would be handed to them on a silver platter without much of a fight from the Trump campaign.

“I think that really makes some people on the left very afraid, because they’re willing to say and do things that others in the mainstream media wouldn’t do,” Lewandowski said.

The former campaign guru-turned-political commentator also contended that Bannon’s hiring sent a message to Democrat presidential nominee Hillary Clinton that Trump wouldn’t just be playing defense over the next few months, but that he would be actively bringing the fight to her.

Lewandowski was once Trump’s right-hand man. He clearly knows a thing or two about the GOP candidate’s strategy and mindset heading into the final stretch of this presidential campaign.

He’s right — hiring a well-respected, conservative media executive who has experience sticking it to the mainstream media, liberals and the establishment could do wonders for securing votes in November.
