The
Democrats and RINOs are hoping that Trump doesn’t use tariffs, because these
guys don’t work for the voters, they work for their campaign contributors, who
want to manufacture products overseas and sell them to US consumers duty-free.
Trump
isn’t backing off tariffs, because he might have to use them to bring
manufacturing jobs back to the US.
His 15%
corporate tax gives US companies a 20% increase in their margins. He is also
rolling back EPA regulations that would have increased electric rates and will
repeal other unnecessary regulations.
In
addition, Trump would offer a 10% repatriation tax for companies to bring their
$2.5 billion in off-shore cash back in to the US to invest.
But all
of that might not be enough. Trump may need to use tariffs to make sure that
all needed industries will return.
