Trump has
called for a pause in the refugee program until his staff can assess its
danger. It makes sense to also set up refugee resettlement in their home
countries or at least in bordering Muslim countries. It also makes sense to ban
Sharia law in the US, because it is incompatible with US law. Muslims who want
to assimilate will stay and those who prefer Sharia will go back to Muslim
countries. We need to send the message that the US will not allow itself to
become like Europe.
