Voter Fraud in the US

Voter fraud has been going on for a long time.

I remember my uncle John coming into our back yard in Hallettsville Texas in 1946.  My dad asked him “How did Lyndon do last night?”  Johns answer was: “Everybody who ever lived in those counties voted for Lyndon”. 

He was referring to Lyndon Johnson, who had just won another term in the US Congress with the help of his modestly paid friends, who drove around his district, casting votes on behalf of their departed friends and neighbors.

Uncle John was the Secretary of Agriculture for Texas and the Dean of the school of Cotton Research Technology at Texas A&M. That’s how he knew Lyndon Johnson. We had even visited the LBJ Ranch for dinner. We were living in Texas in 1946, because my dad was getting his Master’s degree in Cotton Research Technology.

Counties are generally not good at removing dead voters from their voter registers. This creates an invitation for Voter fraud.  Not requiring voters to prove US citizenship when they register to vote and not requiring voters to show a Driver’s License or picture ID is asking for voter fraud
