Consumer Rebate Law

Obama left another landmine by signing this law. It unnecessarily creates another “stimulus” scam.  Congress gets the blame for passing this bill that could cost $42.4 billion.

Items bought in 2017 can be claimed for a cash rebate from the federal government.  It could cost $42.4 billion over a decade.  Only US taxpayers are eligible. This is a consumer rebate program. There is no income limit. It is a rebate, not a 100% reimbursement.  Big purchases are important to include. No receipts are required, but you should send them to get a higher rebate. Use the website to apply for the rebate. Credit Card bills can serve as receipts.

This is nuts for a government that overspends by a half trillion every year.
