Healthcare Cost Reduction

The Healthcare Cost Scam will continue until real costs are reduced.  It will require deregulation, removal of red tape, malpractice reform, lawsuit reform and price gouging scandal exposure before we will see any progress.

There is a slim chance that providers will launch ahead to offer sensible healthcare at a realistic price, but don’t expect that to include expensive redundant tests.

Only the healthy will have lower cost healthcare if they can escape the cost-shifting in insurance costs. The best approach is to go off the grid and self-fund you own catastrophic coverage and be ready to refuse treatment and negotiate with providers or go overseas for treatment.  If you get sick, you will need to do your own cost-benefit analysis to determine the minimum needed to get well.

We find ourselves in the middle of a scam. Healthcare was over-promoted and outcomes are poor. The primary reason for the sky-high costs is government subsidies. Nothing will change until government announces that they will begin to reduce subsidies to healthcare.  Healthcare is a bottomless pit.
