We have
had lots of industries taken over by government and they are not doing well.
Services that require large taxpayer subsidies should be privatized.
Public
transit should be privatized. Home
mortgage lending and Student loan lending should be privatized. Education and Healthcare should not be
controlled by government or subsidized by taxpayer funds. They are overpriced
and underperforming. Government
involvement in energy, labor and most other government functions should be
eliminated or severely limited.
Government
powers should be limited at every level.
Tax dollars should never be used to subsidize any service that doesn’t
break even. Services should have
affordable fees.
Rural
Counties should continue to allow “off the grid” living with well water, septic
tanks and LP gas. These are cheaper than
hooking up and the property owners should have the right to refuse hook-ups
based on cost.
