Ginsburg Retirement

Law Clerk Confirms Bad News For Ginsburg [Video], By Daphne Moon, 3/26/19.

Law clerk spoke privately to reporters about the real state of Supreme Court Justice, Ruth Bader Ginsburg’s, health and reports looming retirement. The reporter claims to have spoken privately with the law clerk who confirmed that a type of skin cancer has returned out of remission.

The sources went on to say that Ginsburg has spoken to her colleagues about retiring in January. What I find concerning about this story is the lack of coverage has made it impossible to find out more details until new information is released. However, if this is true, Trump will be given yet another seat to nominate a candidate of his choice into the Supreme Court.

According to The Santa Monica Observer, “Ginsburg has had a re-occurrence of malignant melanoma, she has told her law clerks. Ginsburg was treated in 1999 for colon cancer and had surgery in 2009 for pancreatic cancer.

She has told key Democratic members of the Senate about her medical condition, including a ranking Democratic member of the Judiciary Committee Dianne Feinstein.

This explains in part the “take no prisoners” attitude of the Democrats during the Kavanaugh nomination, carefully orchestrating weak 37-year-old allegations against Kavanaugh by Women he barely remembers knowing in High School and College.

If Trump is given another opportunity to fill a SCOTUS seat it would be a massive advantage for his administration and would drive the Democrats absolutely nuts! Not to mention, it could potentially guarantee progress under this presidency.

Just in the past few weeks, the 5-4 conservative majority has handed down decisions that curtailed voting rights, sharply narrowed redress for union members as well as labor’s political clout, and upheld President Donald Trump’s travel ban centered on majority-Muslim countries. In the next year or two, the court could be weighing in on your access to health insurance.

From abortion, guns and privacy to voting, gay and worker rights, from immigration to criminal justice to who gets to draw political maps and contribute to campaigns, the Supreme Court is in all of our lives and business. This should be a major voting issue for Democrats in every election.
