Gays Lock & Load

What the LGBT Community is Doing That Has the Left Furious

Leftwing social justice warriors are pushing many agendas down the throats of average Americans. But what happens when two competing agendas conflict?

Take the Left’s love of all things Muslim and their love of the LGBT community. Anyone paying attention knows that Muslims hold no love for gays. Simply being gay is punishable by death in several Muslim majority countries. ISIS regularly posts videos of executions where the terrorists are seen tossing gay men to their deaths from the roofs of the tallest buildings in town.

After the recent terror attack in Orlando where a gay nightclub was targeted and dozens were killed or injured, the left wants to disarm the public, leaving us all – gay and straight – completely vulnerable to the violent whims of terrorists.

Well, not everyone in the LGBT community is toeing the party line on this one. The New York Post reports: The Pink Pistols, an international club for gay and lesbian gun owners, report seeing membership jump from around 1,500 members to 3,500 by Monday.

Gwendolyn Patton, first speaker of the club, said the group is working to prevent tragedies such as the one at Pulse Nightclub in Orlando, where alleged gunman Omar Mateen fatally shot 49 people and wounded 53 more. The incident Sunday was the deadliest mass shooting in U.S. history.

“It’s sad that we must consider such things, but when there are persons out there who mean us harm, we must find ways to protect ourselves within the law.” Patton said in a statement.

A Colorado Springs firearms instructor, Mike Smith, who identifies as heterosexual, plans to open a new chapter of the Pink Pistols in Colorado Springs.

“I look at it as a disenfranchised minority that needs someone who’s willing to say I’m a resource who’s here and willing to help,” Smith told KDVR.

Florida gun retailers also had more customers than usual. Robbie Motes, owner of The Armories, a gun retailer with three locations in the Orlando area, told NBC his store typically sells 10 to 15 guns a day, but on the Monday after the shooting it reached that number by noon.

Good for them. Everyone in this country should have the right to defend themselves. It’s a sad thing that the left has been able to push the false narrative that simply because many on the right disagree with gay marriage, that we are a bunch of hateful bigots. Unlike the left that demands total obedience to a single way of thought, the right is filled with diversity of opinions as well as races. We can disagree without having to hate the person we disagree with. And we support the Constitutional rights of every American to keep and bear arms.
