Courts 101

The purpose of the Courts is to provide a “peaceful resolution of disputes”.  That’s why they allow “plea deals” on criminal cases and prefer “settlements” on civil cases. They allow the release of dangerous criminals to avoid violating “their rights” and release other criminals early if the prisons run out of space.  Courts don’t insist on Justice and refuse to see their role in keeping career criminals locked up.

Courts are happy to base their opinions on their own arcane traditions.  When “the Law” was based on the words, their opinions could be defended.  But the inclusion of “case law” allows the Courts, using past Court opinions, to wander wherever they want to go.

Unconstitutional Court opinions allowed government to go beyond its intended limits and began to do damage to the structure of the US economy and the family.
