Cascade Mall Shooter NOT a
U.S. Citizen…Voted ILLEGALLY in 3 Elections, Including Presidential Primary, By Phillip Hodges 9/29/16
Last Friday, a man who was initially
described by police as Hispanic, but later found to be a Turkish national,
opened fire at Cascade Mall in Washington state. He killed one man and four
women.
Now, it’s been revealed that the
20-year-old Cascade Mall murder suspect Arcan Cetin was not a U.S.
citizen. He had a green card – which meant he was a permanent resident –
but never applied for citizenship.
On top of that, he registered to
vote in 2014 when he was 18, and voted in three elections,
including the presidential primaries in May. (Some
questionable reports suggest he may have voted for
Hillary Clinton.) But it’s against federal law for non-U.S. citizens to vote.
I know that liberals say that fraud
like this doesn’t occur and is merely a right-wing conspiracy theory, but it
does happen. In the state of Washington, they don’t have a process in
place to verify voters’ citizenship status. They simply use the honor system,
and they don’t ask for verification.
As Washington’s Secretary of State
Kim Wyman explained to King5’s Natalie Brand: “We don’t have a provision
in state law that allows us either county elections officials or the Secretary
of State’s office to verify someone’s citizenship. So, we’re in this place
where we want to make sure we’re maintaining people’s confidence in the
elections and the integrity of the process, but also that we’re giving this
individual, like we would any voter, his due process. We’re moving forward, and
that investigation is really coming out of the investigation from the
shootings.”
The fact that they don’t have that
process in place just might be an indicator that this kind of
vote fraud happens more than people think. Cetin certainly wasn’t the first
non-U.S. citizen to vote, and I’m sure he won’t be the last.
