Joe Lieberman

I trust Trump to pick the next FBI Director based on what he believes the FBI needs.  There is a credibility chasm that exists between the Trump voters and the Deep State. Trump voters think the entire federal government needs to be cut in half and totally replaced. They believe the same thing about most US universities. They would replace the faculty and administration.

Democrats don’t like Lieberman, partly because he is currently working for a law firm that represents Trump.

It’s clear that Lieberman was a Washington “insider” I believe that Lieberman was well liked and that meant he was not a Constitutional zealot, but was a bi-partisan deal-maker. Lieberman was chummy with McCain.

It’s not clear whether or not Lieberman has had a political epiphany like Zell Miller did.  Old Democrats were branded as representing the American “working class”. But New Democrats have ignored the “working class” to pursue socialism and Marxism.  Trump stole this constituency from the Democrats in 2016, thereby making the Republicans the champions of the “working class”.

Rudy Giuliani would have been my pick for FBI Director because he is a world-class prosecutor who isn’t part of the Deep State. Rudy would help drain the swamp.
