Per Capita GDP

This is a list of Per Capita GDP by Country

The per capita GDP is calculated by dividing Country GDP by Population. Countries like China and India, with populations over 1 billion have low per capita GDP because their populations are huge.

Likewise, there are countries with high per capita GDP, because their populations are small. Luxembourg has a GDP of $60.7 billion, a population of 590,000 and a per capita GDP of $120,061.

The populations of the high per capita GDP countries are smaller that many US cities.

These statistics were brought to you by the Statistitian who drowned in a lake with a mean depth of 3 feet.
