Government Privatization

I will be running a long article on Government Privatization. I broke it up into chapters and will be posting these chapters today and for the next few days. The entire article is at:

There are several ways to downsize government and the current level of government spending far exceeds its value.

I have long stressed the need to make the federal government comply with the US Constitution (as written), by submitting additional enumerated powers Congress wants to have in Amendments for ratification by the States. Forcing the federal government to comply with the Constitution (as written) is necessary to bring the federal government into compliance with its stated limits and reestablish the Constitution (as written) as the “law of the land”.  Congress needs to begin to take the Constitution seriously and end its involvement with matters that must be left to the States and the People.  We also need to end the sabotage inflicted by the courts as they interpret the Constitution to suit their political whims. They have been using case law to base their “opinions” on other court’s errors.  They also consider the Constitution as a living document to allow them to misinterpret the law.

I have opposed the Article V petitions from States to call for a Constitutional Convention, because it would be suicidal.  It puts our original Constitution at risk of being completely replaced. Voters would have no say about who State Legislatures would select to serve as delegates to a constitutional convention.

I have recommended that only registered voters should be allowed to contribute to political campaigns and only for those candidates who appear on their ballot to end the corruption we now enjoy.

I have recommended the end of government giveaways and subsidies because it distorts prices that should be determined by the law of supply and demand.

I have recommended that government should stop selling Bonds to pay their bills and causing the cost of their projects to double. They should set up accrual accounts for big replacement projects and earn something with our money.

The addition of privatization is an important tool needed to allow the federal government to actually downsize to pay off its national debt and reduce its unfunded liabilities by shedding its unnecessary expanses and ending subsidies.

We have a rare opportunity with Trump as President.  He wants to restore the Constitution and he is on our side. He would implement all of the reforms I cited above.
