Poverty

War causes poverty. Islamic terrorists groups have moved to African countries like Nigeria and others. They are causing wars and committing murder. We are helping these governments eradicate this vermin and need to end its sources of funding by Iran and others.

There are dozens of other countries where there is no war, but their economies are not strong enough to employ all of their citizens. Many people fleeing these countries are the economic refugees who are ruining Europe.

The map indicating what countries are in trouble can be found at:  http://worldpoverty.io/

There are a few reasons why countries develop temporary poverty problems including drought and natural disasters. There are many reasons why countries develop chronic poverty problems including a lack of priorities, a lack of resources, systemic overpopulation and incompetent, corrupt leadership.

When countries get into trouble, their citizens need to assess the damage and determine whether or not it is temporary or permanent.

Those who have skills and could qualify for entry to countries where they could be self-supporting, but this is usually limited to countries who need them.

Those with no skills are attempting to get the UN to relocate them to whoever will take them.  Most countries now have enough low skilled people and need to stop accepting these low skilled, welfare eating economic refugees.

There are currently over 600 million people estimated as impoverished in dozens of countries. The first safety net for those who find themselves impoverished is their family. They move in and the family attempts to feed and house them. Those with some resources may keep from starving by buying chickens and goats and planting crops wherever they can.

The governments in these impoverished countries have several reasons for their citizens’ dilemma.  Some of these governments are there to cater to special interests rather than ensure that their citizens are able to feed and house themselves.

Citizens are continually manipulated to elect the wrong leaders. Economic development in these countries gives priority to the whims of whoever controls them. They may be satellites of other countries that do the bidding of the “parent” country. The laws that control their economies are rigged to support their cronies and not the citizens.

Trump’s call to those who lead other countries is to put their own citizens first. If the leaders and citizens of these countries begin to take this advice, we will begin to see poverty numbers shrink. If citizens and leaders can produce a list of reforms they want their countries to enact and they get these lists published widely, they can begin to take their countries back.

The list of grievances the British Colonists submitted to King George allowed Colonists to describe the kind of government they wanted. When King George rejected their list and refused to accommodate the Colonists, they declared their independence and the Revolutionary War began. With the clever use of allies like France, we prevailed and adopted the US Constitution.
