In FY 2018 total US government spending on
welfare — federal, state, and local — is “guesstimated” to be $1.163
trillion, including $712
billion for Medicaid, and $452 billion in other welfare.
Trump estimates that
immigrant welfare cost is about $300 billion a year. Illegal immigrants welfare
cost is estimated at $100 billion a year, not counting access to US healthcare
and education. The total immigrant subsidy is estimated at $384 billion a year.
Obama gave all 1.7
million minimum wage jobs to immigrants from 2008 to 2016. He took them from
our US teenagers and gave them to the immigrants. Not many jobs left for our 1.7 million new
grads and negligible jobs for US college grads.
