US citizens need to consider manufacturing jobs if Trump is elected. US Manufacturing Jobs will increase. He will lower the US Corporate Tax from 21% to 15% on companies who move their manufacturing to the US and employ US Workers. Transportation costs will drop as “Global Supply Chains” are abandoned.

Car and Truck production jobs will increase. Trump will end the EV mandate and allow US consumers to buy what they want. What they want is Japanese Cars, S Korean Cars and German Cars. In the US, These Foreign Car Manufacturers will add plants in the US. GM and Ford will encourage their suppliers to move their manufacturing plants to the US.
It is likely that other manufacturers will move their plants to the US. Pharmaceuticals like anti-biotics are likely to move from China to the US. Computer Chip Manufacturers are currently building plants in the US and will need US employees.
Manufacturing is taught in schools at various levels, including
high school, trade schools, and universities:
High schools: Some high schools offer manufacturing programs
that teach students skills in demand by the manufacturing industry. For
example, Centennial High School's Manufacturing Pathway program provides
students with real-world experience in state-of-the-art manufacturing
facilities.
Trade schools: Trade schools offer hands-on programs that
focus on skills-based career preparation. Manufacturing is a common focus
of trade school programs, along with other sectors like CNC machining,
construction, and HVAC technology.
Universities: Major universities offer manufacturing
courses, usually for students who specialize in manufacturing. Some
universities integrate manufacturing topics into their general engineering
programs to give students a broad base of knowledge.
Community colleges: Community colleges award associate degrees or
certificates in manufacturing.
Other programs that teach manufacturing include:
SME PRIME Program: A program that serves 8,000 students annually
in 81 schools across 22 states. The program focuses on seven different
pathways, including additive manufacturing, metrology/quality, CAD/CAM, and
welding.
Goodwin University: A nonprofit institution of higher education
that offers manufacturing training programs.
Many manufacturing jobs can be started with a high school diploma and employer provided on-the-job training. There are also many opportunities for people with college degrees in science, technology, math or engineering.

I worked my entire career in US Manufacturing as a Personnel Director and Consultant. Manufacturing adds value. Raw materials are formed into piece parts and is designed, assembled and tested to produce a product, a tool or devise that is more valuable than the materials, design and labor costs and overhead coats it took to produce the product.
