US Private Sector vs European Socialism

Socialism is a Failed Economic System.
We’ve known for decades that the strength of any countries’ economy is directly related to a small, unobtrusive government protecting a free market system run by the private sector. The US was created over 200 years ago to protect this kind of system and it worked. And, nothing else worked.
We watched the USSR go broke and release its satellite countries.  We watched Europe adopt socialist policies and their debt rose and their economies became weaker.  We watched Communist countries like China improve their economy by allowing some free market activity to take advantage of its low-wage population.
We need desperately to break with the socialist track we are currently on, shrink government and restore the free market private sector.
We need to find ways to compete with low wage countries by removing unnecessary government regulations, taxes and laws. We may need to reintroduce higher import tariffs.
In the 1980s and 1990s US manufacturing developed the processes that created design for manufacturing and lean management techniques. This allowed us to ensure high quality automated manufacturing processes. US firms perfected these techniques over the past 15 years, then moved overseas.
US firms moved to Mexico, but drug cartels have destabilized this corrupt country and US firms may be persuaded to move their operations back to the US. The same goes for all other countries where destabilization is occurring.
US wages have dropped, while foreign wages are increasing.  Eventually, these foreign countries will lose their low wage edge and other factors will make return to the US economically feasible.
The US will not be able to restore its economy successfully without US manufacturing.
The countries who hang on to socialism will continue to see the rise in poor quality and unsustainable increases in cost. In the US, the cost of healthcare, education and government have reached the price/demand curve.  We need to return healthcare and education to the private sector without tax subsidies and cut government spending in half.
We can do this by returning the federal government to compliance with the US Constitution and 10th Amendment. It will remove the federal government from unconstitutional activities and allow the free market to restore these industries.
If we are willing to take over our own healthcare and education, we will give the private sector the opportunity to reform these industries to become affordable again.
Currently, both healthcare and education are low value, high cost items. No cures are being found in healthcare, only higher costs for treatment.  Education has become a communist indoctrination camp and will become a dangerous place for our children because of corrupt government sabotage.
Our federal government is totally corrupt and is not only low value, it is the greatest threat to our liberty.
We have every reason to quit the UN and close the US Departments of Education, EPA, Interior, Labor, HUD and others. I would close them and transition these functions to the states immediately.  Then I would close the rest, leaving the federal government with the enumerated powers granted by the states to comply with the US Constitution and the 10th Amendment.  Until we do this, nothing will improve; it will only get worse.
