EU is Toast

Like the UN, the EU has attempted to usurp member country sovereignty.  The EU needs to reverse course on becoming the Unholy Roman Empire or be abolished as more countries quit the EU. This would be the end of the Fourth Reich.

Is the END in sight? Brexit will trigger death of the EU, says Farage, by David Maddox, 6/9/16

BRITAIN will make history by triggering the end of the EU in the referendum vote Nigel Farage has declared in a barnstorming speech to the European Parliament.
Nigel Farage said Brexit could spark an exodus by other countries After his successful appearance debating the Prime Minister on ITV, Mr. Farage has spelt out how the EU project will die with a Brexit vote in Britain.

His claims have been supported by a senior politician in Denmark who has written to the Daily Express expressing how his country will follow Britain's lead to the EU exit door.
Sven Skovmand, a former member of the Danish parliament for the Social Liberal Party and the People's Movement against the EU, said that there is a cross party movement in his country pushing for their own Brexit looking for inspiration from Britain.

I hope it brings an end to this entire project  - Nigel Farage
In his speech, Mr Farage said he believed that UK withdrawal from the EU following the June 23 referendum would spark an exodus by "many other countries", bringing an end to "the entire European project". He said: "I hope that on June 23, it isn't just Independence Day for the UK, I hope it brings an end to this entire project and in a few years' time, we can be sovereign, democratic nation states that work and trade together."

He was loudly applauded by supporters as he departed with a quote from polar explorer Lawrence Oates, who famously left the tent on Captain Scott's doomed Antarctic expedition to walk out to his death alone, with the words: "I'm going out now, I may be some time." The European Union could crumble after Britain votes to leave

Mr Farage said: "We have in two weeks' time what is to be the biggest event in the history of this project. "It is the British referendum and it's not just about whether Britain leaves the European Union, because if we make that choice I'm confident many other countries will make that choice too."

Writing for the Daily Express online, Mr. Skovmand confirmed that Denmark is ready to follow Britain's lead. He said: "It is not only in the UK where people are against the EU. Also in Denmark there are many people that are against the EU and we have a cross political movement that works for Denmark's withdrawal from the EU." He pointed out that in 1992 a majority of Danes votes no to the Maastricht treaty, in 2000 the Danes voted no to the Euro and last year in December the Danes said no to hand over sovereignty to the EU on the justice and home affairs area. He said he believes "most Europeans are against the EU." He went on: "But due to the Danish constitution we have had more referendums about EU questions then most countries in the EU. Denmark is ready to follow Britain out of the EU

"Such a referendum creates a much more intense debate than a decision in parliament, and experts can draw attention to problematical details in EU-laws." He added: "The EU is a threat to our democracy and I believe many Danes wants as much influence as possible over their daily life and therefore they reject the large centralization in the EU."Also the Nordic welfare model does not seem very compatible with the EU's development and that makes many Danes reluctant to the EU project as such."

June 23 could be Independence Day for the UK. He insisted that the Danes are more critical of the EU than they have ever been before. He said: "If the British electorate votes Leave on June 23rd I am convinced that the Danish electorate will follow suit. "It would be much better for our democracy if our countries joined EFTA where countries like Norway, Iceland and Switzerland are member states."
