US Needs a Border Wall

The US Mexican Border is 2000 miles long. There are 20,000 Border Patrol Agents guarding the border. That’s 10 Border Agents per mile, but they work in shifts, so that’s 3 Border Agents per mile on the Border and they respond to groups attempting to cross the border. This is inadequate.

A wall with sensors and radar that activate drones would make border protection possible. Agents could respond to specific spots that report activity with sufficient force. All who cross the border illegally need to be apprehended and border agents will need to respond appropriately.

Some are criminal drug gangs and terrorists and should be arrested. Others are illegal migrants and should be detained and deported. All applications for asylum and legal guest worker visas should be filed with US Embassies and not at Border Crossings Stations. US employers who need agricultural guest workers should be required to sponsor these guest workers by name and H2a visas need to be approved by US Immigration.
