A Republican for DeKalb Sheriff

Harold Dennis is the only Republican running for DeKalb Sheriff this November.  For years we haven’t had any Republicans running for DeKalb Sheriff, so we had to research the backgrounds of the Democrat candidates.  This year is different.  We actually have a Republican running.

Harold Dennis has served as the Sheriff of Marion County in Ocala Florida and the Sheriff of Brevard County in Titusville Florida.  He currently serves as a Lieutenant in the DeKalb Sheriff’s office.

Harold wants to fill in the gaps he sees in DeKalb crime prevention and DeKalb county jail operations.  He wants to decrease criminal activity by raising the standards of DeKalb County.  He would promote augmenting law enforcement to support Police operations in DeKalb and Dunwoody and establish better behavior in the jail.
