Defining Patriotism II

The US needs to maintain an effective military to defend the homeland from invasion and attack. We are capable of technological advances and need to continue to maintain a strong military to deter war. We have developed our military by ensuring advanced systems and recruiting and offering training based on interest and ability. We saw this military function best in the Gulf War in 1990. This is expensive and requires good management. Our air and ground attack systems should allow us to remove military targets and minimize damage to civilian areas. Our tactics have already advanced to minimized our own casualties.

We need to reduce our costs in military foreign aid by demanding that foreign allies spend more of their own tax dollars for their own defense. We actually need allies in the Middle East and Asia with large, prosperous economies, who are able to keep the peace in neighboring countries.

We need to stop “nation building” in war torn areas. We can’t afford to rebuild their buildings or make their citizens support their government. But we need to stop leaving “power vacuums” that allow terrorists to take over. We need to send a clear message to foreign allies that they are sovereign, in charge and responsible for the well-being of their own citizens. Tribal countries will probably remain tribal and Muslim countries will probably remain divided by Sunni and Shia and by Radical and Moderate. They won’t change until they have had enough carnage and are ready to change. We need to stop bribing rogue foreign governments to behave. Muslim refugees need to be kept in Muslim countries and returned to their home countries to provide stability for themselves and for their homelands.

I don’t understand how the Pentagon failed to stop the Russian Uranium deal in 2009. I also don’t understand how we blew it in Korea, Vietnam, Iraq and Afghanistan. I do understand how we succeeded in the Gulf War in 1990.

I don’t understand how we now find ourselves fighting our own Communists on our own soil. This is a bloodless battle we wage at the ballot box. The Trump voters in 2016 represented the militia and the Clinton voters represented the globalist, Bolsheviks.

Being patriotic should not involve blind allegiance, but should require us to ask the tough questions, like how we can dismantle the Bolsheviks’ cartel and restore our economy. this is the first step, but the damage the Left has done and will continue to do needs to be exposed and punished. All the laws enabling them to do damage to our economy and our sovereignty must be repealed. We are being attacked on several fronts. The American Communists have been doing damage for over 100 years and their 45 goals need to be reversed.  We have also been vulnerable to our anti-discrimination laws that need to be examined. We need to ban Sharia law from being adopted in the US or we’ll end up like Europe with No-Go zones and Muslim lawsuits. Third, we need to end corruption in our political system and put the voters in charge by exposing our problems in the cold light of day. Patriotism demands that we do this.
