GA Primary May 22

The “Establishment” controls the Georgia legislature and we would do well to replace them with reformers. There are no guarantees, but I think our best bet is to vote for those who might be reformers in the May 22nd Republican Primary election. I picked the following to vote for:

Mike Williams for Governor – He is a successful business-guy, who also served in the Georgia Senate. He shows no signs of being in the “Establishment”.

Rick Jeffares for Lt. Governor – He is the only one who mentioned repealing bad GA law.  He is also the only one who was actually a City Manager.

Brad Raffensperger for Secretary of State – He is a State Rep and will stop voter fraud.

Jay Florence for Insurance Commissioner

John Hitchins for Public Service Commission

Chuck Eaton for Public Service Commission

Richard Woods for School Superintendent

Nicholas Smith for Superior Court

There are numerous Court positions with no opponents and there were no special ballot issues on the sample ballot for the primary.  If any of these ballot issues arrive on the ballot in November, I will vote NO on all of them.

I expect the Democrats to attack whoever wins their Republican primary seats. Voting for Democrats these days is sovereign suicide.

Norb Leahy, Dunwoody GA Tea Party Leader
