PARENTS WHO QUESTION KIDS' TRANS ACTIVISM FACE
INVESTIGATION, Teachers instructed to call social services if moms, dads
don't cooperate, 10/5/18, WND.
Questioning a child’s ventures into
transsexuality can earn his or her parents an investigation by social services,
according to the recommendations from a town council in the United Kingdom.
A report in the
Telegraph reveals
that a “toolkit” offered by the Brighton and Hove City Council suggests that
moms and dads who also dismiss a “gender questioning” child’s request for a
name change are a big problem.
The document comes from Allsorts Youth Project, a pro-LGBTQ activism
organization that advises in “all cases,” transgender students must be allowed to access the shower room that corresponds with their
gender identity.
At the Christian
Institute, there
was the warning that promoting the alternative sexual lifestyle agenda just
encourages kids to question.
The
council’s guidance “advises teachers on how to handle a number of different
scenarios, including if parents say: ‘I refuse to allow my son to change his
name or wear skirts,'” the report says.
“If a setting has a significant concern
about the child’s wellbeing and or safety in relation to how the parents or
carers are managing the exploration of the child’s gender identity it may be
necessary and advisable to follow safeguarding procedures,” schools are told.
That
means putting a boy in a changing room alongside girls, on occasion, even if
the girls object.
The
document says any other treatment constitutes “bullying behaviors.”
“Schools
are advised that some parents may ‘struggle’ to accept their child’s gender
identity and it may be a long time before they accept the change,” the report
said. ‘
The statutory guidance issued by the
Department of Education includes counsel that staff “with concerns about a
child must contact social services or the police if necessary.”
“In 2017, Dr Joanna Williams, a lecturer
at the University of Kent, spoke out against the ‘time,
effort and money that goes into producing and monitoring Transgender
Policies,'” the report said. “She added: ‘Children – encouraged by their
experiences at school – are beginning to question their gender identity at ever
younger ages. In doing more than just supporting transgender children, and
instead sowing confusion about gender identity, schools do neither boys nor
girls any favors’.”
