In 2018, the federal budget of France planned to increase its fuel taxes on 1/1/19. The budget was approved and the tax increases were announced. The budget supported the UN Agenda 21 scam published in 1992 to eliminate fossil fuels. Since then, the global warming hoax has been discredited except for the globalists who run the EU. The French are attacking their globalist President for continuing to support the Climate Change scam cult.

On 11/17/18, protests were launched by private sector families who were tired of paying for UN and EU scams like global warming.  The protests were wide-spread from 11/17/18 to 11/30/18, but settled in Paris with daily riots that began 12/1/18.

Protestors are calling for lower taxes on fuel and energy and are opposed to tax dollars being used to promote the climate change agenda.  The “yellow jackets” make their living in trucks, delivering goods around France and their gasoline prices are $7 per gallon, and about half of that cost is the gas tax.

The gas tax is designed to eliminate cars and trucks that run on carbon burning internal combustion engines, but their electric and natural gas replacements are still in development and are too expensive. With most of the rest of the world continuing to burn fossil fuels, the French are challenging the UN / EU Climate Change delusion.

President Macron was elected in 2018 and will not have to run again until 2022. The French had been silent about EU abuses like the Muslim Invasion, terror attacks, no-go zones and the global warming hoax, because they felt secure in having a reliable trade process with the EU. When Macron announced his war on cars and trucks, they finally reacted. They need their cars and trucks to make a living and don’t want to be squeezed out of business to support the climate change scam.

Europe has had a history of having out-of-touch political leaders whose reckless actions have resulted in disaster for their citizens. World War I was caused by reckless Monarchs and World War II was caused by reckless political elections. The EU was formed to ensure that European countries stop attacking each other, but the results are abysmal. The EU morphed from a trade cartel to a tyrannical delusional oligarchy committed to social engineering.

The EU needs to back off on the Climate Change scam and allow member countries to enact its own laws if they want to survive as a trade cartel. If they refuse to do this, I can anticipate the protests moving to the streets of Brussels with thousands of citizens from many EU countries.
