Un-American US Corporations

US High Tech and Media companies in the US are led by yesterday’s Globalists. They appear to reject Trump’s call to make America First, despite the fact that Trump has unleashed the US economy with corporate tax cuts and the elimination of unnecessary regulations making it economically feasible to relocate operations back to the US. The loyalty of these American generated corporations appears to be tied to their global supply chain.

Corporations are tied to the countries they occupy and serve as the basis for the economies of these countries. When corporations give away their intellectual property to foreign corporations, this does irreparable harm to the nation’s economy. China’s intellectual property theft needs to end. The companies who signed their intellectual property rights over to China in order to gain access to China’s consumers has set the seeds of their demise. The US government can no longer allow this to continue.

Companies must adhere to the laws of the countries in which they operate and be able to abide by the laws and regulations these countries impose. These laws must hold companies accountable for cleaning up their own messes.  In China’s case, their laws require intellectual property theft as a condition of doing business. If they do not change this policy, the US will impose high tariffs on imports from China.

This path opens up opportunities for companies to form in the US to compete with these Chinese imports. The most important industries include electronics, IT and software development.  The US is on the path to return these to US operations with US citizen employees. If we can restore our technically oriented corporations, we will be able to restore our lead in technology and defense. This is our highest priority. We must protect our financial information and the ability of our infrastructure to operate.  All of our systems are electronic.

The best environment for corporations includes good living conditions, affordable costs and freedom to act without unnecessary government interference. Governments typically have import and export processes and tariffs, but occasionally ban companies from doing business with certain countries.

Companies who process raw materials have typically been located close to the source of these raw materials to lower transportation costs.  Companies who produce finished goods have typically been located close to large populations of consumers to expedite just-in-time inventories.  Companies who send their product through pipelines like oil and natural gas will ultimately lower their transportation costs.

We have too many un-American US Corporations. This includes those multi-national US manufacturers and media companies who promote global governance, liberalism and socialism. They are held captive to political correctness, group-think and suicidal economic policies.  They support open borders, unfettered international supply chains, expanded welfare, expanded immigration and sanctuary cities. Their positions would result in the total destruction of the US economy.  They shroud their delusions in a false sense of morality and they are sanctimonious about their flawed world-view. They signed up to UN Agenda 21 and their plan for global governance under the UN. They are traitors to the United States and disregard the US Constitution (as written).

Having spent my career in US manufacturing, I am aware that corporations are free to do as they please. They are free to move operations overseas and do so to serve consumers in other countries. Manufacturing companies are not tied to their countries and are free agents who should operate based on the quality, reliability and cost of the products they sell.

If these manufacturing companies are involved in new product development and require design engineers and software developers, they typically locate in the suburbs of large cities. Engineers like to have as many potential employers as possible to avoid having to move too often to be close to their next employer.

Many manufacturing operations do not require on-site design engineers and can operate successfully in small cities in rural counties.  They do need to be able to hire and maintain a quality workforce, especially top-flight technicians to maintain and repair their production equipment.

The US wants the products that are purchased by US consumers to be made by US citizen workers.  The fact that Toyota and Volkswagen and other auto manufacturers have plants in the US employing US workers is the model to use with all other goods and services. This is an opportunity for investors to form US companies to make equipment, appliances and other goods in the US using the same model. Foreign companies are welcome to set up operations in the US and will do so, if their sales volumes support these operations.

The US Labor Force Participation Rate sits at 62.8% and we have a long way to go to move it up to 70%.  We should continue H1b visa hiring of the best engineers and H2a visa hiring of the best technicians.  We must eliminate welfare programs for non-citizens who are Welfare Migrants.
