US Electricity Production Costs 2-9-24

Hydro    .058 cents/kwh

Coal      2 cents/kwh  3.00/BTU

Natural Gas  3 cents/kwh to 6.3 cents/BTU.

Nuclear  2 cents/kwh, but the cost to build nuclear plants has sky-rocketed

Solar     14 cents/kwh

Wind     14 cents/kwh

Hydroelectric power generation is the cheapest, but these are not being built.

Coal electric power generation is what other countries that can’t get Natural Gas are using.

Natural Gas power generation is the best to keep the electric grid from failing,

Nuclear needs to use technology to reduce the cost of building Nuclear Power Plants

Solar and Wind are total failures at providing electricity.
