US Government Policy Failures II 2124

US Federal Government Agencies spend too much money doing the wrong things and funding our demise. 

World War I began with stupidity in not using total economic isolation of Austro-Hungary for invading Serbia, instead of having the UK declare war on Austro-Hungary.

World War II began with weakness and appeasement by Chamberlin in the UK and this emboldened Hitler to secretly build his military and carefully take over neighboring countries. We should have used economic isolation of Germany in 1933.  Instead, we waited until 1939 when it was too late.

The Cold War with Communism began with US weakness and appeasement by FDR in 1945. He should have used his A-Bomb leverage to dissuade the USSR from keeping Eastern Europe and should have convinced Stalin to pare back his Army and focus on Russia’s economic development. This started the Cold War in the 1950s with China and the USSR and continues with China, Russia, North Korea, Vietnam, Cuba and Venezuela. 

Islamic Terrorism that began in the 1970s continues in 2024 with Iran, Afghanistan, Iraq, Syria and Yemen.

Globalism that began in the 1990s continues with a Rogue, Lawless US Government that started with Obama and continues with Biden. The Democrat Party is committed to our demise.

The US Government supported the Shah of Iran that resulted in Imam Khomeini’s converting of Iran into a Terror State. They funded Osama Bin Laden in Afghanistan to prevent a USSR takeover that would have accelerated their demise. They funded Sadam Hussein to fight Iran. They supported Fidel Castro to take over Cuba. They supported Noreiga to turn Panama into a narco-state. They supported South Vietnam and lost the war.

The US Government has supported bad moves since the Carter Administration in the 1970s. It supported the Shah of Iran and didn’t see Iran’s vulnerability to the takeover or its ramifications.  

The best response to bad actors is total economic isolation, not military foreign aid. Today it would require cutting off trade with China, Russia, Iran, Syria, North Vietnam, Cuba and Venezuela. They would be isolated to trade with each other. It would also require that the US reestablish energy independence.

Agencies now react ideologically with malice of forethought. They do not think things through to their obvious conclusions. They think wishing will make is so and it’s ok to fail as long as you are doing the “right thing”. Most government employees are Democrats.

A short list by Brookings illustrates failures due to their tendency to overreact and demonstrate that their activities should be curtailed. The weaponization of agencies like the FBI, DOJ, CIA, IRS and EPA suggests that these Agencies need a house-cleaning. They don’t work for the Voters.

These were failures by Agencies to prevent everything from catastrophic events to embarrassing events.
